Palermo-Sicily Query

Hi Travel Enthusiasts and all the Rick Steves fans!
Hope you are doing well and continuing travelling.

I am trying to book online entrance tickets in advance for 1) Chiesa di Santa Caterina d'Alessandria church+monastery+terrace and
2) Church of St. Mary of the Admiral in Palermo. But the official sites that are suggested in the google map there is no option to book tickets. How can I book the tickets please? Can anyone suggest me the websites to book the tickets for these churches please?

Thanks in advance!

I haven't been to either of those churches, but unless there is something special about access to the parts of Santa Caterina you want to see (such as a requirement that you take a guided tour), I can't imagine there is any need to buy tickets in advance. Few churches are so heavily visited that advance purchase of tickets is of any benefit, even if it is possible. All it does is tie up your money on a ticket that probably will not be refundable if for some reason your trip is cancelled or delayed.

Thank you acraven for your response. Actually I am only interested to book entrance tickets. I am not talking about any group tours. Advance tickets will save a lot of time of long queues and waiting time. There are 3 churches in the Piazza Bellini and all of them worth a visit as per Rick Steves. This is really strange thing I noticed in Palermo for many sites I am not able to book tickets online. Only ticket prices are mentioned but no option to book those online.

We visited all these churches but did not buy in advance. I don’t think it is set up to do so.

We didn’t buy any tickets in advance in Sicily.

You just really have to go with the flow.
