We will be taking the Sicily Tour and wondering if anyone has dinner recommendations for Palermo close to the hotel, the Ambasciator. We like to have a reservation when arriving after a long day of travel. Anyone who has taken the tour any hotels that do your laundry along the way?
Thank you.
Here is a link to a similar question a couple of months ago, with the restaurant the we enjoyed

We had NYE dinner at Osteria Ballarò, Via Calascibetta, 25, 90133 Palermo from their regular menu. The atmosphere and food were stellar. If Google Maps is correct, it is a 4-minute walk from your hotel.

Ask the tour leader about laundry opportunities at the first meet-up. Our best opportunity was in Ortigia. You need enough nights to get it back in time.
A seven minute walk down the via Roma is the very small Trattoria Trapani, one of our favorites in Palermo this March. Exactly the kind of place we like: quirky, casual, good food of course, a variety of types of diners (office workers, construction workers, travelers, local families, etc.). Bonus points for not making us taste the house wine, just serving it. Also bonus points for non-matching silverware. Do make a reservation --- we got the impression that the cook wants to know how many ingredients to buy. Anyway, Google it and see what you think.
