Any recommendations for hotels in Palermo? Any hotels that offer shuttle bus to airport?

Have stayed at both Hilton's in Palermo; just checked and the Hilton Exclesior has a rate as low as 75E in July or a "B & B" rate for 115E. Great place to stay for the rate!
I doubt any offer airport shuttles as it's a pretty good distance to the airport-cab runs about 45E while parking can run around 25E daily in the city if you can find it. i do understand there is a bus from the train station, however, do not know the details.

Just back from a RS tour of Sicily, we stayed at the Hotel Tonic. Well located, huge room, good breakfast. Check it out!

I stayed at Hotel Garibaldi. Loved it. American hotel sized rooms. air conditioning. big breakfast buffet in the a.m. right near a major bus hub so you can get to and from the airport easily just across the street on the other side of the Politeama. You can get around town if you need a break from walking. Although the walking is quite manageable.

Grand Hotel Della Palme is nice but a bit on the expensive side and believe they offer a pick up/drop off at the airport but it's extra. The Prestia buses have 7/8 stops around town including the train station and Politieama. Cost is 5.80. For a budget place Hotel Italia on Via Roma just a short walk from the train station is ok. No frills but cheap.
