Palermo hotel/B&B...any good recommendations?

I'll be in Palermo (yay!) early May and wondered if anyone had any good recommendations for an inexpensive, yet decent, B&B, hotel, etc.

Thanks...or should I say Grazie? :)

Hi Jill, We stayed at the Hotel Jolie in May 2012. It's a nice, decent hotel within walking distance of the main attractions. Price was very low as it was shoulder season and many places weren't busy, breakfast was decent. Staff were accommodating and arranged for a car to take us to the airport, with enough notice. Weekends are tough to make arrangements so plan ahead. We booked through Venere.com and reconfirmed two days ahead. You will love Sicily. Sherry

I agree with the above poster, but I got a great deal at an old Palace: Centrale Palacio Hotel in the old section, easy walking distance to all of the major sites. The chandeleirs were oooh and aaah worthy! If you can get a great rate, you'll love this place! Ciao! I also LOVE Sicily! Rented an apartment once and a BnB once in Taormina through "legendofsicily.com" Loved these people.

Cortile di Palermo is a small B& B, centrally located, very reasonably priced. Luca, one of the owners, will give great advice. Breakfast is self-service.
