Off to Sicily next March and am looking for a recommendation for 1/2 day food tour in bothm Palermo and Catania.

I would look at the "Adventures with Sarah" blog/videos. She has a fair amount of Sicily videos posted and she did a food tour in Palermo.

We did the Streaty Food Tour in Palermo. I’m not sure if that’s what you’re looking for? It was in the evening and I think it was 3 hours. The guide was excellent - young, energetic and a local guy. We did 5 food stops (at least) and 2 alcohol stops, ending with dessert. The group was small and congenial, so that made it even more fun. He did talk us into trying the spleen sandwich, which was actually very tasty.

Highly recommend Streaty food tour. We went on Palermo tour, member of tour also went on Catania tour. Said it was just as good.
