Palazzo valentini

While researching Rome I stumbled upon this attraction, Le Domus Romane di Palazzo Valentini. Has anyone here been there? Do you have to make reservations way before or can you do it a day or two in advance? I would appreciate any input on this. Thanks.

We just did it this past May and really enjoyed it. You do need to make reservations well in advance to get the English version. No need to show up much in advance of your reserved time, as the group size is quite small. You'll move around from room to room, sometimes when it's very dark and hard to see. Other times you'll all have to take turns cramming into a little space to take a look around. You don't get to sit down for about the first half of the tour, so keep that in mind.

We did it in July and it was wonderful. My son (20), who had never been to Italy before, said it was his favorite site. You should make reservations well in advance as they are small groups and tend to fill up. You only need to arrive about 10 minutes before the start of the tour. Donna
