Palazzo Avino (Ravello) vs Cocumella (Sorrento)

Daughter and her fiancee will be honeymooning for 7 nights this July. They are trying to decide between Palazzo Avino in Ravello and Grand Hotel Cocumella in Sorrento. Their main goal is to relax, with day trips to Capri and Positano. They love the beauty and luxury of Ravello, and it's been my daughter's dream hotel for several years, but they are a bit concerned it may be TOO remote. Are there any shops or restaurants or cafe's nearby or is it necessary to take a bus absolutely everywhere? I heard there are walking trails or routes around Ravello...is this correct? They don't need a lot of activity, but just some options??

On the other hand, Cocumella seems to be in more of a city locale (Sorrento)...is it within walking distance of anything or are taxi's or bus necessary there, too? Is the additional convenience worth giving up that Ravello ambiance? What's the luxury-level of Cocumella?

I don't know the area at all, so if anyone has knowledge of these hotels, would love your thoughts. TIA
