We are going on the 9 days of Italy tour and I don't think Palatine Hill is included in the tour. Does anyone know if it is? If not, does anyone recommend we take a tour?

You do not need a tour to explore Palatine Hill, just walk around on your own. There are wonderful views of the Forum below.

Rick Steves' guide has a self-guided tour of the Palatine Hill. I think most group tours cover the Colosseo & Forum as well as the Palatine. Or you can get a private guide for a couple of hours. LMK if you need a name of a guide.

Suki is correct. Bought the combo Colisseum/Forum ticket and self guided ourselves around Palatine Hill.

We toured Palatine Hill with an archaeologist and it was incredibly enlightening...well worth it!
