Padua/Padova foodies

Might be to late, but will be exploring this city tomorrow (3/28) and need some restaurant recommendations for lunch and dinner. If you see this, and can respond in time, thanks in advance!!

Darn, our favorite place in Padua says it's permanently closed. But it was street food and maybe not what you had in mind anyway.

A Banda Del Buso, Via Bartolomeo Cristofori, 12a --- 2nd favorite, open lunch and dinner Monday, 12 minute walk from the Scrovegni Chapel, safer to get a reservation

L'Anfora, Via Soncin, 13 --- you will need a reservation, open lunch and dinner Monday, I just now saw that it has some stupid bad Google reviews for things like "the bartender is a jerk" and from people who had no reservation and couldn't eat there! I love to read the bad reviews.

La Folperia, Piazza della Frutta, 1 --- outside the market, a fish place, closed Monday but maybe you'll be in Padua Tuesday, too.

Thank you! Unfortunately we are only there Monday, and we love street food. Will check out the others. 😁

So, where did you eat? And what did you think of Padua?

We ate at Birreria Padovana. It was pretty good. While we enjoyed our time in Padova, it was not one of our favorite cities. Not sure we’d go back 😐
