I am a bit confused by the website for the Padua Botanical Gardens. Open hours are listed as:
9:00-19:00 (everyday; closed on working Mondays)
Does "working Monday" mean any Monday that is not a holiday? So is the garden open only on holiday Mondays? I am not familiar with this term and was wondering if we will be able to tour the gardens on a Monday in August.

The Italian version has an additional line that translates as, "open Tuesday to Sunday and all holidays." The garden will usually be open, especially at popular visiting times like weekends and holidays, even when holidays fall on the usually-closed-day of Monday. Some other attractions in Italy have similar policies.
Thank you - that makes more sense. We will try to squeeze it in on Sunday, our arrival day.
