Hey there! I've been ripping my hair out trying to find information online about visiting the Arena in Verona.
Does anyone know if we can just roll up to the entrance during opening hours to buy tickets? I just can't figure out if tickets need to be booked in advance. We would love to be able to take a tour but not sure if there are regular tours at the monument or if we need to book through a third party. Any information would be great...thanks.

Good information about visiting the arena with closures and hours is here: https://www.visitverona.it/en/poi/arena-amphitheatre
Their official suggestion is that it is "it is advisable to book and buy tickets online" but obviously not required. Depending on when you visit you may be able to walk up and buy tickets or buy them right away or not.
You can book tickets here: https://verona.midaticket.it/Events/Wizard by choosing the Arena and a day and time.
