We bought the DaySafe 100 after reading all the entries in Rick's books about thieves and pick-pockets. It has wire mesh and wire cables running throughout the inside of the bag. My question is: will this bag get through airport security and customs without a problem?

You'll be fine. I had the PacSafe Citysafe 200 and was fine. No worries.

I traveled with my friend to Barcelona and she carried the PacSafe DailySafe 100. We were approached by a group of Gypsy kids -- they bodyslammed my friend, tried to slip their hand in to the bag, but they completly failed and ran off. It really worked, it is a fantastic deterrent.
