Packing for Honeymoon

So here we go... First trip to Europe. First vacation together as a couple. Not sure what to bring. A little overwhelmed with two days till takeoff. We leave from JFK New York to Rome at 5:30 on Thursday. Today is the last day to order some must haves from Amazon using 1 day shipping. Besides clothes, camera equipment, toiletries, cell phone I am totally clueless what I should be bringing. What are some things that I know I forgot that I should be bringing?

Light weight paperback books or a nicely loaded e-reader, Kindle or something like that, plug adaptors, ear plugs, travel-battery-operated-alarm clock and radio, disinfectant wipes to use to wipe door knobs and tv remotes, hand sanitizer. Have a good trip!

Zachary Congratulations! I always bring 4 things with me to Italy. a good map (even photocopy maps so you can stick them in your pants or her purse); a moneybelt ; rubberbands to wrap around my husband's wallet (makes it more difficult to loose that way) and twist ties for my backpack (prevents anything from falling out or getting stolen). Alert your credit card companies and health insurance. Make copies of passports and credit cards and leave with someone here. Have a great trip

If you can travel Italy together, the rest of the world will be all downhill. Nowhere is more frustrating for the traveler. My best advice is don't even dream of perfect, plan on laughing through all the crazy roadblocks you are certain to experience. That's the key to a good Italian vacation. Like my Italian roommate always said, "Italians either love you or they hate you, there's no in-between." If you have a good attitude and smile, you are much more likely to experience the former and really have a great time. I doubt you need to pack much, it's your honeymoon.
