Has anyone traveled fom Paris to tuscany/Florence via the overnight train? We are traveling with our toddler and attempting not to lose days and find the best route from our stay in Paris to Tuscany.

When will you take this trip? Currently there is no direct night train from Paris to Florence. You can take the Paris-Venice night train as far as Milan and another train from there to Florence. Direct night train service from Paris to Rome (with a stop in Florence) is supposed to resume in June. EasyJet is a good budget airline that flies daily from Paris to Pisa. You can take the train from the airport station to Florence. Vueling is a good budget airline that will offer direct flights from Paris to Florence starting at the end of March. However, flights won't be offered every day of the week.
