Hello, I'm planning a family vacation to Sicily in September and I'm looking for a recommendation for a winery that also offers rooms for the night (and breakfast!). I am looking for a place in either the Southeastern/Central regions (Piazza Armerina/Ragusa/Noto, etc.) or Western/Southwestern Sicily (near Trapani/Marsala, etc.). Our schedule is somewhat flexible because I haven't booked all hotels yet, but I'm NOT looking for wineries or agriturismo near Etna because we have accomodations in that region already. The most important aspects for me are (1) breathtaking scenery and (2) great food/wine. Room amenities are inconsequential, and we prefer rustic to new buildings (i.e. Planeta Winery). I have looked at several places online but it is so hard to tell from photos. Any suggestions! Thanks so much!
