My husband and I will be in Sorrento, then Positano each for 3 days in May. We plan on spending one day touring Naples, then either taking the overnight ferry(with cabin) to Catania, which leave at 7:30 pm (Sun), or staying overnight in Naples and leaving by air early Mon. morning. Since we are renting a car in Catania (from the airport location) it makes sense to fly into Catania. If we take the ferry, we will have to store our luggage at the ferry port in Naples all day, then take a taxi from the port in Catania to the airport to retrieve our rental car. I am willing to do this if the experience proves especially interesting. Any thoughts??
