Hi
I am looking for some current advice from people on the overnight ferry from Naples to Palermo. Frankly old review are terrifying and I am hoping that people who have travelled recently might shine a brighter light. I am in a group of 6 and we through overnight would be fun. Can anyone who has done it in the last few months advise what it was like and who they travelled with?

The problem is arriving in Palermo at 7AM, `hotel check-in not until 2 or 3 in the afternoon; dinner less than memorable and quality of sleep in a narrow berth a concern.
