We are taking the Bernini Express in May from St. Moritz to Tirano, Italy before visiting the lakes region. Do you have a preferred hotel in Tirano that is near the train station? We will just be staying one night. Thank you.

We stayed here, Hotel Ristorante Bernina Tirano, about 10 years ago. It was good for just a one night stay. The restaurant was really good. You can see both train stations from the hotel.

We also stayed at Hotel Bernina, just last September.
The room was fine, we did upgrade to the largest one with a balcony as we prefer space. It was around 120 Euro from memory, including breakfast.
We ate lunch at the hotel's restaurant, and the food was okay, that's it.
We ate dinner at Ristorante Parravicini, about a ten minute walk away. Amazing food, some of the best in our almost four weeks in Italy and Switzerland.
