What is the best outlet mall near Milan for good prices in designer clothing? Is Serravalle Designer Outlet a good choice? Is it worthwhile to spend a day doing outlet shopping?

While in Europe? Why not do your outlet shopping in the States? It's the same knockoffs and brands.

Serravalle gets pretty good reviews on TripAdvisor. Friday's seem to have the deepest discounts. Most said around three hours would be enough time. If you can't find those brands close to where you live and you have the extra time why not?

I was just thinking that my wife would find clothing that it is unique to Italy or the Milan area, like things sold in high end stores in Milan but at a discount. Are they really all the same items as available in the US? If so, you are correct, there is no point.
