Outlet adaptor for polarized plug

Hi
I have some plug adaptors for plugging a standard US two prong plug into an Italian outlet which I've used in past trips for my dual voltage charger. This time I'll be taking a small netbook(also dual voltage) which has a polarized plug. What kind of adaptor do I need?

I had to buy a special 3 prong plug adaptor from a travel store. It was about $10.

maggie, I had a look at one of my two-pin Euro Plug Adapters from Magellans and it will accept polarized plugs. One other question - is the Plug for the Netbook a "grounded" model (with a third pin)? That's the case with my Netbook, so I use a grounded Plug Adapter when connecting that. The grounded Plug Adapters for Italy are different than those used in other European countries, so I bought one specifically for Italy. This Plug Adapter is the one I use in Europe for ungrounded appliances. It will accept polarized Plugs. This Plug Adapter is the one I use in Italy for grounded appliances (I have different Adapters for using grounded appliances in Switzerland, France or other countries). I believe this will also accept polarized Plugs. Cheers!

I took a round 2 prong with me, but one of the hotels took a round, 3 prong adapter. I was able to easily buy one in Milan and Monterosso, and less expensive than from home in Canada.
