Online I am seeing examples of both 2 and 3 prong adapters to bring to Italy to be able to charge devices etc.
Does someone mind sharing a link with me of an adapter they used in the country that worked??
Thanks so much :)

Rick Steves Travel Store sells two-prong adapters that work in Italy, Continental Europe Electrical Adapter, on sale for $1.00 each, limit 5. Buy several because they do fail. Under Accessories, Handy Extras.
Rick Steves also sells the Universal Adapter, for use in several different countries. I have the Universal Adapter, and it's kinda nifty, but the problem is that the adapter for Italy failed. It's important I think to buy several two- prong adapters for Italy.
Before buying Plug Adaptors, it's very important to check each device you'll be travelling with to determine whether they're designed for use on 220 VAC electrical systems. Look for the words "Input Voltage" on the chargers or on the device. Also note whether devices have a two pin plug or a three pin (grounded) plug.
The Plug Adaptor shown in the link in the previous reply will only work in Italy, so it's a good idea to have a few two pin (un-grounded) Plug Adaptors as well, which will work all over Europe, similar to this model - https://www.amazon.ca/Ckitze-US-EU-Travel-Europe-Adapter/dp/B001EB26MO
I used this one this summer over 7 weeks in Italy with perfect results, never a hiccup. I sometimes did charge 4 devices at once, other times just 2 or 3. No overheating, no slowness in recharging. I used it in hotels, on trains, in public spaces. It allowed me to leave all my "bricks" at home and only bring this 4-port adapter and the USB cables. Similar items from different manufacturers are available on Amazon. I recommend this type of adapter/recharger for Italy, it doesn't have to be this brand. I liked this one because it had interchangeable prong types and a very low profile plug.
The two pin "Europlug" sold by Rick (here) should work everywhere in Europe (at least Western Europe), but it is limited by codes to no more than 2½ amps (~600 Watts), and should never be used with a device that has an American polarized plug (one blade wider than the other).
If you have an American grounding plug (two blades and a pin), the adapter shown by VA Jim should work everywhere in Italy. A Schuko plug adapter, like this, should work everywhere except in Switzerland and Italy (and I'm told some newer installations in Italy will have receptacles that accept the Schuko plug).
I have the 2-prong adapters for sale here, for my camera charger, iPhone, and iPad. These are the only devices I use. They have not failed (they are several years old), but for $1 each, I pack two extras, my only just-in-case item.
We bought two prong adapters that take two items plugged into them, we bought them off amazon. Yes more expensive but we only got 4 for our family of 4, they worked perfectly. We also made sure that we had no devices that were a three prong in the US, those would need a three prong italian adapter, don't know if this is true, just what the internet led us to believe.
Maybe it's because I live near a major city, but there are many travel stores which sell adapters. Not for $1 each, but there's also no additional shipping charge or waiting time. And you can actually look at the items before you buy.
