My husband and I are planning our vacation to Puglia for May 2025. After spending 10 days in Puglia Ostuni will be our last stop before heading back to Rome by train. Is there a great place to stop and possibly spend the night on our way back to Rome?Really don’t want to go out of the way of our destination and add more hours on the train. Help please.

I was in the Puglia region is May and absolutely loved it! Some of the places I stayed which are on the main train route are Polignano a Mare, Bari, and Caserta. Those are each unique to each other, I’ll just add my trip report in case you want details, so I’m not retyping everything.
