Ostia Antica - parking available?

We'll be picking up our rental car at Leonardo da Vinci airport and driving over to Ostia Antica. I've been trying to figure out if there is parking available, but haven't quite figured it out. I found the following info at what looks to be an official website for the site (I say 'looks like' b/c they don't provide an English page; the quote below comes from Google's translation of the page - here's the link:
http://www.itnw.roma.it/ostia/scavi/showquestion.php?faq=4&fldAuto=6 )

"Parking Excavations of Ostia
Access to Dig is not allowed to transport that will stop in the parking lot, pay, near the ticket office". From that quote, I can't quite figure out what the meaning is. Does anyone know if there is parking available?
Thanks a bunch, Scott

I looked at the original Italian and thanks to several years of Italian class (^_^), I can safely translate it as follows:

Vehicles cannot drive into the site itself ("Access to Dig is not allowed to transport"), but instead, have to pay to park in the guarded parking lot which is near the ticket office ("that will stop in the parking lot, pay, near the ticket office")

And having been to Ostia Antica just last month, I can back this up first-hand.

(Gotta love those translation websites.)

We took the train there last summer but remember walking through a fairly large parking lot that was nearly empty. And we saw locals arriving in vehicles and parking in this area. I think you will be find.

Yes - there is a parking lot adjacent to the entry gates. There should be no issues parking at Ostia Antica!
