Hi, We will be in Rome the last week in November of this year, and are thinking of going to Ostia Antica on a Sunday. It looks like it is open (closed on Mondays), but will the trains and everything still be operating on a fairly regular basis? It seems to be the best day for our itinerary but we just want to double check since it will be a Sunday in the off season. Thanks!

Yes, trains will run, no problem. Ostia is weather dependent. If it is not raining, go. If it is raining you will be miserable so have a back up plan.

Yes, if the weather is good go to Ostia Antica. We really enjoyed our visit here and found Ostia to be very interesting. Not crowded either.
