Is it easy to take the train from Termini Station in Rome to Ostia Antica? We are hoping to do this trip on Easter.

Very easy, and it’s a short walk from the station in Ostia to the entrance.

Metro from Termini to Piramide, walk next door to the Porto San Paolo station and then train to Ostia Antica. Note there are two Ostia stations, Antica is for the ruins and Lido is for the resort town, the next stop down the line.
RS Rome Guidebook has a useful section on visiting Ostia, including how to get there by train.
