I am flying into Fiumicino on the 30th of June. My wife and I are going to arrive earlier than the rest of our group that we will be traveling with. We thought that because we are getting to Rome about four hours sooner than the rest of our party we could spend time at Ostica Antica before they arrive. Looking at Google maps it seems to be very near the airport. Does anyone know a good way to get there from the airport or if it would be better to find our hotel on the first day then come back out to see the sight later? I am trying to save time and Rick says that the best way to deal whit jet leg is to just get moving.
