Osteria Francescana Wait List - how does it work

We are on the waitlist for dinner. How likely will it clear? We are 3 traveling Nov. and sought out a Friday night.

I see from your other post that the Osteria is in Modena, and realize now it has 3 Michelin stars. I don’t have personal knowledge as to how their system works, or how likely it is that you’ll get your Friday night table at this point, but for someone who can, I thought I’d confirm its location. Can you check with them as the months pass, to see where your place on the waitlist stands? Best of luck getting an open table.

If you were dining in Bologna, 2 small and non-starred places we ate at (and returned because they were so good) are: Ristorante Alice da Oscar, and Osteria la Traviata, both at the south end of the city, a little inside the ring road.

I don't have info on the waitlist since we were able to get a reservation but just wanted to say good luck, I hope you get to go!! It was incredible.

Wow I hope you get it! We had a reservation then…along came COVID and the RS Best of Tuscany and our food trip to follow was toast. If you ever find yourself in NYC dine here https://www.rezdora.nyc/. The chef studied under Massimo. The food is terrific!

Have you tried to contact them? [email protected] or +39 059 469054

Both locations looked booked through Dec.

Given the price list I suspect few on this forum have been there and can offer first hand info

Good luck

Every 1st of the month they opened the booking for some months in advance. The booking for November 2022 has been opened the 2nd of May. Unfortunately November seems sold out: https://reservations.osteriafrancescana.it/
You can try to write them an e-mail to ask to be on the waiting list (there is a button in the page).
As alternative, you can book a table at Casa Maria Luigia: https://casamarialuigia.com/francescana-at-maria-luigia/?from=of Same tasting menu of La Francescana, but done in the Bottura's hotel in the countryside of Modena.
