My fiance and I are honeymooning in Italy (Rome, Florence, Venice) in September of 2015 and I'd love to visit Osteria Francescana located at Via Stella 22, 41121 Modena, Italy. Is it possible that we get from Rome florence or Venice to Modena and back in the same day? What would be the best way to do this assuming I can still get reservations. Could my local hotel set up transportation for me?

Yes, you can go to Modena and come back on the same day from any of those cities, although Florence with be closer.
The fastest way is by train.
You can buy train tickets on your own at the station. If you pre-purchase online a few months ahead you might get a discounted ticket (which sells fast) however those are non changeable and non refundable. Florence to Modena is not that expensive anyhow, about €25-35 each way (1.5 hrs).

Modena has a lovely centro storico, plan on spending a good part of a day there.
