Orvieto to Rome-Fiumicino Hotel

We will be dropping off our rental car in Orvieto and then a train back to the Rome area. What is the best way to get to the airport? Is there a direct train from Orvieto? Or will we need to go back to the Rome train station and then get a taxi to our hotel at the airport? Thank you.
