What would be the easiest way to get from Orvieto to the Rome airport for a noon flight?
Is there a direct train that takes you into the terminal similar to Paris's CDG?
Or would it be better to spend the night close to the airport and drive in that morning?

Most train connections from Orvieto into Rome FCO (yes, right into the airport) take just over two hours, but with a change in Rome at either Termini or Tiburtina station. See www.trenitalia.com or How to Look Up Train Schedules and Routes Online.

Take a 70 minute regional train into Rome Termini and change to the express train that takes you to FCO.
For a noon flight, you can make it on time from Orvieto.
