Farm accommodations approx 6 km from Orvieto, with no car, can't find out if taxi would pick up and drop off? Don't want to book until I confirm. No way of emailing owners.

I would certainly hesitate to book any accommodation whose owners are so hard to contact. This seems like a potential red flag to me. Do they text via WhatsApp? I've rented a car from the Hertz office one block from the Orvieto train station. If you are willing to consider that option, renting a car might solve the problem.

Normally the train or local bus schedule will get you close. Then try "MyDaytrip.com" they provide one on one car trips all over the world.
Be sure to type In the name correctly such as Firenze for Florance or Roma for Rome. www.tenitalia.com is their web site for train
schedules.
