Orvieto places to stay for two people in centro.

Any recommendations for a place with kitchen and laundry maybe? Prefer not a hotel. Thanks

We stayed at B&B Michelangeli. It was wonderful and Francesca was very helpful.

I've read nice things about the B&B Casa Selita.

Booking.com has a bunch of accommodations up in the old city.

It's a very popular town, and a great place to stage a trip into or out of Rome--70 minutes south via local train. The train station is at the bottom of an incline (vernicular).

I second B and B Ripa Medici. Best place we stayed in Italy.

I third B&B Ripa Medici. Stayed there last year and am returning in October. You may want to read my review under the Hotel/Rest reviews on this travel forum. The host Sabrina is the best.

How easy is B&B Ripa Medici without a car? Are taxis easy in this area if walking with luggage would be too much? Thanks!

We walked it. It's about 20 minutes' walk from the funiculare to Ripa Medici. Rolling bags, of course! There's a bus, too, but we've never taken one in Orvieto.
