Orvieto market days and times

I was there this last Saturday and there was a market from about 8AM and started folding up around noon. I thought it was OK but I would not change everything around too see it. There were a number of stalls with As Seen On TV items which I find hilarious as well as a number with apparently used clothing as there were just piles of stuff dumped on tables. Many others with new clothing including lots of big white granny panties and expensive but fairly low quality sweaters (weird fit and bad places in the knitting).

I'm vegan so the stalls of meat and cheese didn't interest me. I managed to spend 35 € at the nut/dried fruit place (well the guy ~was~ cute and kept plying me with samples). Not much local fruit except apples the day we went, lotsa mushrooms but there were many in the local markets as well. Prices seemed on par with the local markets.

I think there is a market on Thursday as well but not 100% sure.

There is a market on Thursdays and Saturdays in Piazza del Popolo. Usually closes down by 1-1:30 in the adternoon.
