We are staying in old Orvieto for a couple nights first week of October. On departure day we are planning to take the 7:25 am train from Orvieto to Naples. Just wondering about logistics around how to get to train station on time for departure. Will there be taxis/Uber available before 7:00 am in old Orvieto to go to station? Any other suggestions/feedback? If this is a bit risky/logistically challenging we can take the 9:00 am train but prefer the earlier one. Thank you.

This is a common situation since the funicular down does not start running until 7:30 am and the place where you are staying will have a solution, you should ask them.

Have your hotel call for a taxi? That's what did.

A taxi is probably your best bet, but the #1 bus will get you from near the Duomo to the train station that early or even earlier if you want more peace of mind --- it takes only 10 or 15 minutes.
