Hello
Does anyone know of a ride service from Orvieto to Rome for 6 people?
Is the train not an option for your group?
Check with your hotel.
Yeah, the train is easily your best bet. Just get over to Termini. Multiple trains each day, about 90 minutes each way. I just checked cost buying tickets 60 days in advance and it's 18,90 Euro round trip per person.
You arrive at Orvieto and right there is a low-cost funicular that takes you up to the hilltown plateau. Repeat the process when finished. Some love to stay 2-3 days, but I think 5-6 hours is just right--and that's including a great meal and touring the cathedral--it's the perfect daytrip from Rome.
Enjoy your planning!
Ditto the train. Super easy.
Op needs a one way to Rome
6 people will require a large van
It’s about an hour and a half drive so a driver is going to be 2-300 euros?
If you can’t take the train try this service or ask your hotel
Remember a taxi from Orvieto has to return to Orvieto so you’ll pay for that part as well and I doubt you’ll find a large taxi van in Orvieto
