Orvieto/Assisi Day Trips from Rome

Hello,

I've made several trips to Italy, and in fact lived there for several months in the mid-2000's. In May, I'm leading a group of students on a ten day study trip, showing them the highlights of Rome. We would like to take an organized day trip to Orvieto/Assisi. I see several booking companies online offering this itinerary. However, I want to make sure to go with a company that has actual historical knowledge/content to their tour - not just transportation and drop off. Does anyone have a recommendation on a good company or group to go with? We have 31 in our group total.

Hi and welcome back to the forum.

First, what are the ages of your students, and how many chaperones do you have?

Do you want to do both cities on the same day, or are you open to two seperate excursions?

The reason I ask, is because it may be more cost efficient to take the train and book the tours while in the cities themselves.
