Hi experts, We plan to be in Orvieto in May for 3 days. We will travel by train and would like suggestions on a place to stay. We typically love B&B's and aren't looking for anything fancy, but close to the heart of the village. Thanks as always for you suggestions.
What is your budget?

B and B Casa Vera - just a few steps from the Duomo and main piazza. Small, clean and not expensive.
We just returned a few days ago from Italy. Had a direct from Mpls. to Rome, took train to Orvieto for 2 nights before pkg up our rental car upon leaving. We stayed at Hotel Corso on the main drag in the upper town which was very convenient & an easy walk, about 10 min., from the funicular. (note: funicular was not running as under maintenance but a bus was running regularly from train station & drops you in upper town by the funicular) Our room was small but had everything we needed for two nights and breakfast was fine, a typical light European breakfast. We chatted with people staying at La Magnolia, and had stayed here before, on Via del Duomo and they really liked it. Buon viaggio!
Thank you to everyone who provided input, we really appreciate that support. We were able to get a GREAT apartment at Casa Vera that fits nicely into our budget Gracie Mille!!
