Hello All
Just wanted to reach out to thank everyone who helped me with my trip of a lifetime to Normandy (Bayeux), Paris, Firenze then Ortisei.
We have been planning this for several years as it was our retirement trip delayed 3 years by Covid. Special thanks to all but especially Laurel Barton about the Dolomites (her book was great) and Jeff Leknes (his expertise in history and the Normandy area) were priceless!
Other people really helped put Farmer Phil, Roberto di Firenze, etc all helped. Normandy is a place everyone should visit it’s so humbling and sacred. Firenze never disappoints ( we have been there 4 times) and Paris was good. No words or pictures can ever begin to describe the magnificent Dolomites even though it’s daunting with the three languages. Thank you again!

Some questions, if you don’t mind: How many days did you spend in the Dolomites? All at the same place? Did you have a car?
