Ortigia Food/Market Tours?

I can’t comment on a food market tour, but when we stayed in Ortigia we walked to the Syracuse’s Ortigia Market for lunch. I can recommend Caseificio Borderi for their amazing sandwiches. We just walked through the market on our own. In addition to fruits, vegetables and fish someone was selling fresh baked bread, fresh cooked octopus, which my husband had and loved and other items. It's basically an outside market. You can walk it on your own.
