Orti Oricellari and Santa Maria Nuova - Florence

Has anyone visited either of these two locations in Florence by chance? I’m interested mostly as it relates to my reading and interest in history of Machiavelli and Da Vinci. Can’t find much online particularly about Orti Oricellari.
Santa Maria Nuova is an old hospital currently still
operating I believe - but it is where da Vinci kept his money accounts (and possibly performed cadaver studies) …since it’s operating probably something to just walk by the outside …

Orti Oricelli was once referred to as Rucellai gardens in the 1500s and the meeting location for a group of war and political strategists, humanists etc of the time- online it says you can visit by appointment but has no instructions how.
Thanks.

I frequently pass in front of the door of the garden, but I never saw Orti Oricellari open. I read it can be visited by reserving with a call at +39 055 266991, just try and maybe it will work.
Santa Maria Nuova is up and working, my father was hospitalized there two months ago. The church at the centre of the building is open and you can freely visit, the left door is the emergency service (no visits), the main entrance is the right door. There are guided visits of monumental areas, reserve at address at https://www.fondazionesantamarianuova.it/prenota-la-tua-visita/
Again, I confess never having visited; I used only the medical facilities.
