Can I take a train from Trastavere to Orte? I am by myself and will be visiting family that will pick me up in Orte. I know I can do from termini but that will take more effort and I won't want to stay as long. Thanks. Linda

There are some regional trains from Rome Trastevere station to Orte that don't require a change – for example, depart 8:25 and arrive 10:11. You can save about 45 minutes by transferring at Tiburtina station, which is much smaller and easier to navigate than Termini – for example depart 8:40 and arrive 9:40. You can check schedules at www.trenitalia .com. Use the Tutti i Treni tab.
