Ordering tickets to Borghese Gallery

I hope someone knows how to answer the questions for the website. I am trying to order tickets to the Borghese Gallery through tosc.it. I get through everything okay on the website except the form won’t complete until an ID number is entered. I can’t believe that I would put in my passport number or SSN. Does anyone know what the form is asking for? Or how I can bypass it?
Thanks for your help!

Hi Jackie,

I can't answer your exact question, but I easily obtained tickets with a phone call... I found instructions on the website.

Good luck

Jackie,

If you are planning to buy a Roma Pass, which you should consider if visiting several museums within 2-3 days, you don't need to buy a separate ticket to Borghese - just call to reserve an entry time. See this page for Roma Pass info:

http://www.romapass.it/en/museums/

You can use this pass to get free entry into 1 or 2 museums and other discounts in Rome.

Yes, either with or without a Roma Pass, you can make reservations by phone if you can't resolve the issue. You might also try via email?

From the Roma Pass website:
"For reservations to the Borghese Gallery, you can call the number +39 0632810 or send an email to [email protected]."

I just bought a ticket online to the Borghese last week for a guided tour. The only ID number I needed was a "3D Secure Code" for my Master Card. I had to fumble around a bit to set that up but eventually completed the transaction. Don't know if that's what you were seeing or not but thought I'd mention it. I then had to use that code for I think a train ticket so glad I got it done. If it your problem you might google to set up the 3D secure code.

Be sure you are using the correct website. The one in Rick's book is the best.

After the antibot pop-up window Tosc.it redirects customers to ticketone, that is an httpS site with its nice and visible green lock.
