Order of Cities??

I am flying into and Rome and leaving from somewhere in Italy for Greece, presumably by ferry at this point. I want to visit Rome, where I will start, Venice, Florence, Cinque Terra, Tuscany and Sorrento. In what order does it make sense to visit these places? Ideally I'd like to alternate between busy, intense cities and more relaxing areas.

What will help you the most in thinking about the order is to get out a map, if you don't have one go to Mapquest or GoogleMap. Search on Italy and locate all the destinations you listed. Sorrento is the one that is far away from the others, and is also closer in the direction of your next destination, Greece.
