Am visiting Pompeii, etc. in September. These other three nearby sites have been brought to my attention. If anyone has visited any of the sites, please offer your thoughts, especially note if they are easy to reach without car or car service. thank you

We've not been there. We heard about these locales in a "Teaching Company" course on Pompeii and they sound fascinating. When I researched getting there without a car, however, my recollection is that it involved some pretty long uphill walks. If I can resurrect my research (!), I'll post again.
