Trying to finalize plans and book rooms. I know it's a lot. We've been before and this time taking my nephew and want to show him as much as we can. We are two adults and two teen boys 15/16. We've travelled trains before and are comfortable using them. That being said..how does this look? After Bologna is there a better choice than Parma? Thanks in Advance!!

Day 1 - Arrive in Milan and train to Venice (stay in Venice)
Day 2 - Tour Venice (stay in Venice)
Day 3 - Tour Venice (stay in Venice)
Day 4 - Early morning train to Florence and tour (we've been before) (stay in Florence)
Day 5 - Tour Florence (stay in Florence)
Day 6 - Day trip to Siena (stay in Florence) - if not Siena any other suggestions? We have been to Lucca and Pisa already. Was even considering a Tour with Robert form Siena.
Day 7 - Train to Bologna, leave luggage secure at train station and go to Lamborghini and then train to Parma (stay in Parma)
Day 8 - Tour Parma (stay in Parma)
Day 9 - Train to Milan for 3:40 PM flight

I think Bologna would be a better choice, and see Parma as a daytrip. Bologna has some interesting sights, including a leaning tower the boys can climb.

Depends on train schedules from Bologna to Milano and then Malpensa Express to the airport.

There are trains from Bologna Centrale to Malpensa Aeroporto a couple of times an hour, with one change at Milano Centrale. You could leave Bologna at around 8:30 or so and be at MXP by noon.
