Opera in Rome this coming May

My husband and I would like to see an opera in Rome. We are planning to go to the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma. We've searched online and found a site where people warned not to buy tickets. However, I found another site called Select Italy where we can purchase opera tickets. Has anyone used this site to purchase tickets? Is it a trust worthy site? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have used Select Italy for some museums. They charge a fee, of course, but it's not unreasonable. I have found them very quick to respond. They will email you a voucher which you use either to obtain tickets at the box office, or use as your ticket. Print out the email and if you have questions, call or email their customer service center.
