Only one bus station-Departure point from Florence to Siena?

Our hotel is south of the Arno River. So, my ? is, do we have to walk up to the train station to catch the bus from Florence to Siena or are there more than one bus stations that head out to Florence. If so, it could be that there's one closer to our hotel. Thanks!

Paige, the SITA bus station is a long block or so from the Florence train station. I'm not sure how many stops the bus makes leaving town but there are two SITA bus services. One is the Corse Rapide (Express) and the other makes more stops.

The easy solution is to take a city bus. There is good bus service from South of the Arno to the train station. Just remember that you have to validate tickets on the bus as well as the train. Tickets are cheap and you can get them at tabacchi shops.

Are you staying at the Hilton Metropole south of the Arno as we did? If yes, jump on their free shuttle to the train station. I'm sure the driver will drop you off at the SITA terminal. It runs every 30 minutes.
