Does anyone know of the best car rental company to rent at the airport in Munich and return to Bolzano? We want to head out to explore the Dolomites and no car rentals on Sundays from Bolzano so this is our other choice.

The major companies present in Bolzano are:
Avis, Europcar, Hertz, Maggiore (in alphabetical order).
Be aware that renting a car in one country and returning it in another generally involves drop off fees that range from 200 to 600 euros. Therefore before you even consider that option, inquire carefully. Can you rearrange your trip so that you rent and return the car in the same country?

If you will arrive in Bolzano on Saturday and spend the night, you could pick up the car in the afternoon, even if you leave it parked. For instance, Avis should to be open to 15:30. An extra rental day would cost less than a second-country drop fee.
