Instead of daytripping we are spending the night in Naples before flying out the next afternoon. We are staying near the Piazza Bellini in the Spaccanapoli district. A couple questions: I understand the churches close in the afternoon (1pm-ish?)--do they reopen later if we wanted to do the walking tour through centro storico? We were planning to visit the Archaeological Museum midday upon arrival and doing part of the walk later in day. Alternatively we can do the walk the next morning (cooler!), but just want to know our options. Also, we are staying over Sunday night, leaving Monday afternoon. Are there any closing of churches or museums on Sunday/Monday to be aware of? Any other must-sees for such a short time in Naples (hopefully on foot)? Finally, with one night to play with--restaurant recommendations please!
Monday is a day when many museums are closed. Churches may have limited visitor opportunities on Sunday because of scheduled Masses.

We especially liked the San Lorenzo Maggiore complex. For pizza we enjoyed Antica Pizzaria da Michelle. It gets quite crowded, so best to go not during the main meal times. Very reasonable and very authentic/memorable. We enjoyed Naples very much.
Of the churches described for sightseers in Rick Steves Italy, most are open daily from early morning until 13:00 and then again from 16:30 until 19:30 or 20:00. One exception to this is the Capella Sansevero, which should be open straight through from 9:30-18:30 but closed Tuesdays, and the Pio Monte della Misericordia, which is open 9:00 - 14:30 only and closed Wednesdays. Take all published timing with a grain of salt in this region.
The Porta Nolana Fish Market is closed Mondays.
You're in luck for the Archeological Museum: closed Tuesdays.
