I plan to stay a month in Italy (May 2010) as a celebration of retirement, my two daughters coming at different times during the month.
We really want to enjoy Rome but would also like to travel truough the countryside.
My question is...do I rent an apartment for the entire month & if so, Where would you recommend.
Also, should I be concerned as a female traveling solo when my daughters aren't here?
